MGM Grand Detroit needed new art for their wallscape downtown Detroit. With this prominent location overlooking the popular Campus Martius, it called for something a little extra. I incorporated an optical illusion and made it look like a giant lion is sitting on a ledge. Original photography brought the architectural features to the backdrop. I also did the copy and art direction.

VIDEO TECHNIQUE:

Film Noir style. The camera follows the Lion but see only hints of it in forms of shapes, shadows, fur etc. until the end, when the full reveal happen. The lion starts normal size then grows as the film progress to end where the Lion hops up on the ledge where he sits looking out over the city.
